JASON COHEN
Director
As head of Dewey Square Group’s National Grassroots Practice, Jason has over 25 years of experience managing and executing some of the nation’s premier national public affairs efforts on behalf of clients from the private sector, national trade associations, non-profits, small businesses, and start-up companies.

Cohen worked at the direct mail firm of Crounse Malchow Inc, managing direct mail campaigns for congressional candidates in Indiana, California, Texas and Wisconsin. Cohen also served as manager with a leading public affairs internet startup company, Voter.com, and directed the customer service department for all of Voter.com’s political clients.
In 2004, Cohen served as the director of the Missouri Coordinated Campaign during the presidential election and as the field director for City of St. Louis Mayor Francis G. Slay’s successful re-election campaign in 2005. In 2006, Cohen worked as a consultant with the DCCC helping to monitor and direct efforts in key battleground states. In 2008, Cohen served as the Missouri state director for a presidential campaign and then became the campaign manager for Proposition C, the Missouri Clean Energy Initiative, which passed with 66% statewide support.

Jason holds a B.A. from Indiana University. He is a fellow with the Truman National Security Project, serves on the Board of Trustees for the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, and is a board member with the Jewish Community Relations Council of St. Louis.
