Kayemba Mvula is a bilingual, data and results driven social impact and international development professional with over eight years experience in the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa.
He has worked on a number of social and economic issues, including, but not limited to, criminal justice, international trade, environmental pollution. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kayemba has lived most of his life in New Orleans.
His research interests include human rights, entrepreneurship, and private sector development, with most of his focus being on New Orleans and francophone Africa. He is currently an MBA candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he is focusing his studies on entrepreneurship and social impact.
